Booking Policies 🔏
We kindly ask that you book with intention. We understand that life happens, but please remember that we are still a business. Our policies are in place to protect our time, our clients, and our studio, and should never be taken personally.

Availability 📆
The availability shown on our booking website reflects what is currently open. Pre-booking is highly recommended, as our schedule fills quickly. If you do not see a date or time that works for you, please join the waitlist to be notified as soon as an opening becomes available.

Hair Growth 🌱
For optimal waxing results, 4–6 weeks+ of hair growth is required. One to two weeks of growth is not sufficient. If you arrive without adequate hair growth, you are still responsible for the full service fee.

Deposits 💸
Online and evening appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment time. Deposits are applied toward your total service amount. Deposits may only be transferred once within 30 days of the original appointment date. If an appointment is canceled, the deposit is forfeited. Clients who frequently reschedule may be required to leave a deposit for future bookings.

Payments 💳
A valid debit or credit card is required to be kept on file at all times in order to book an appointment. Remaining balances are due at your appointment and are preferably paid in cash. If you choose to pay with a debit or credit card, it must be the same card on file. Tap-to-pay is also available. Please ensure all booking information is accurate when scheduling your appointment.

Form Questions & Consent Waivers 📜
All required form questions and consent waivers must be completed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Services cannot be performed unless all forms are fully and properly completed.
Forms are prompted immediately after booking and can also be accessed through your confirmation email. Failure to complete the required forms and waivers may result in refusal of service.

Grace Period ⏳
We allow a 5-minute grace period for all appointments. If you arrive later than 5 minutes, your appointment will be canceled. If a deposit is on file, it will be applied toward the cancellation fee and cannot be used for future services. If no deposit is on file, the card on file will be charged the cancellation fee. If you are running late, please text your estimated arrival time to (346) 589-9010. If availability allows, we may be able to accommodate you later that day, but this is not guaranteed.

Menstrual Cycle 🌸
If you are on your menstrual cycle, a fresh tampon or menstrual cup is required. Cancellations due to your cycle are considered last-minute cancellations if made within the 48-hour cancellation window.

Appointment Changes 🤎
Additional services cannot be guaranteed at your appointment. If you need to shorten or remove services, at least 48 hours’ notice is required. Without proper notice, you will still be charged for the services originally booked.

Guests 👫🏽
For the safety and sanitation of our space, additional guests are not permitted unless they are receiving a service. If you are a parent and unable to secure childcare, please text us at least 24 hours in advance at (346) 589-9010 so we can ensure a safe environment.

Inclement Weather 🌧️
In the event of inclement weather, your appointment will be rescheduled with no penalty. If a deposit is on file, it may be applied to the rescheduled appointment.

Beauty Bar by Mare does not have a receptionist. The fastest way to reach us is by text at (346) 589-9010. For cancellations or rescheduling, please use the link provided in your appointment confirmation email. All changes must be made online.

All transactions are non-refundable. If a card on file shows insufficient funds for any applicable fees, future bookings will be restricted until the balance is paid. Failure to adhere to our business policies may result in refusal of service or a ban from future bookings. Beauty Bar by Mare reserves the right to refuse service when necessary.

Please book with intention. We understand that life happens, but our policies are in place to protect our business and respect the time reserved for each client. These policies should never be taken personally.

Deposits
All online appointments require a non-refundable deposit, which is applied toward your service. Pre-booked evening appointments also require a deposit. Deposits secure your appointment time and confirm commitment.
If no deposit is on file, cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours will result in a 50% last-minute cancellation fee charged to the card on file.

Payment on File
A valid debit or credit card is required to be kept on file in order to book any appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance to avoid fees. Clients are responsible for managing their own appointments through the reschedule link in their confirmation email.
If the system no longer allows changes, the rescheduling window has expired and a 50% cancellation fee will apply. Same-day cancellations, no-shows, or arrivals more than 5 minutes late will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
If you have a deposit on file and fail to cancel or reschedule within the required time frame, the deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward any applicable cancellation fees.

Rescheduling Limits
Appointments may be rescheduled once within 30 days of the original booking. Any additional changes require booking a new appointment. Repeated rescheduling attempts may result in automatic cancellation to allow availability for other clients.
If a deposit is on file, it may only be used for one reschedule. If the appointment is canceled, the deposit is forfeited.
Clients who habitually reschedule may be required to place a deposit for all future appointments, regardless of service type.

Non-Refundable Policy
All transactions are non-refundable. These policies ensure fair scheduling and protect appointment availability for all clients at Beauty Bar by Mare.

Reminder
Please add your appointment date and time to your calendar and review your confirmation notifications carefully to avoid missed appointments or fees. Your confirmation email includes an option to add the appointment directly to your calendar.
