Booking Policies 🔏

We kindly ask that you book with intention. We understand that life happens, but please remember that we are still a business. Our policies are in place to protect our time, our clients, and our studio, and should never be taken personally.

By booking an appointment with Beauty Bar by Mare, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the policies below.

Availability 📆

The availability shown on our booking website reflects our current openings. Pre-booking is highly recommended, as preferred dates and times can fill quickly.

If you do not see an appointment that works for you, please join the waitlist to be notified if an opening becomes available.

Hair Growth 🌱

For optimal waxing results, 4 to 6+ weeks of hair growth is required. One to two weeks of growth is not sufficient.

Please avoid shaving, trimming, or using hair-removal creams before your appointment.

If you arrive without enough hair growth for us to properly perform your service, you will still be responsible for the full service fee.

Deposits 💸

Online appointments require a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment time. Your deposit is applied toward the total cost of your service.

Deposits may be transferred one time within 30 days of the original appointment date, as long as the appointment is rescheduled outside of the 48-hour cancellation window.

If an appointment is canceled, the deposit is forfeited.

Clients with a history of frequent rescheduling may be required to leave a deposit for all future appointments.

Payments 💳

A valid debit or credit card must be kept on file in order to book an appointment.

Any remaining balance is due at the time of your service. Cash is preferred. If paying by debit or credit card, payment must be made using the card kept on file. Tap-to-pay is also available.

Please make sure all contact and payment information entered during booking is accurate and up to date.

Consent Forms 📜

All required consent forms and waivers must be completed at least 24 hours before your appointment.

Forms are prompted immediately after booking and can also be accessed through your confirmation email or text reminders.

Services cannot be performed without completed forms, and failure to complete them may result in refusal of service.

Grace Period ⏳

We allow a 5-minute grace period for all appointments. Arrivals more than 5 minutes late will be handled according to our Cancellation Policy below.

If you are running late, please text your estimated arrival time to (346) 589-9010.

If availability allows, we may be able to accommodate you later that day, but this is not guaranteed.

Menstrual Cycle 🌸

You are still welcome to receive your Brazilian wax while on your menstrual cycle. A fresh tampon or menstrual cup is required during your service.

If you choose to cancel or reschedule because of your cycle, our standard Cancellation Policy still applies.

Appointment Changes 🤎

Please select all services you would like performed when booking your appointment.

Additional services cannot be guaranteed at the time of your visit and are subject to availability.

If you need to remove or shorten any services from your appointment, changes must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Without proper notice, you will remain responsible for the services originally reserved.

Guests 👫🏽

For the safety, sanitation, and comfort of our studio, additional guests are not permitted unless they are receiving a service.

If you are a parent and are unable to secure childcare, please text us at (346) 589-9010 at least 24 hours in advance so we can determine whether we are able to safely accommodate you.

Inclement Weather 🌧️

In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, your appointment may be rescheduled without penalty.

Any deposit already on file may be transferred to the rescheduled appointment.

For cancellations or rescheduling, please use the Manage Appointment link included in your confirmation email or text reminders. Appointment changes must be completed through your booking link.

Outstanding Balances

If we are unable to process an applicable fee due to insufficient funds or a declined card, future bookings will be restricted until the outstanding balance has been paid.

Repeated failure to follow our business policies may result in restrictions on future bookings or refusal of service.

Cancellation Policy ❌

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance using the manage appointment link included in your confirmation email or text reminders.Changes made within 48 hours will forfeit your deposit. If no deposit was paid, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. If your service was prepaid in full, you will receive a 50% refund.No-shows and arrivals more than 5 minutes late are treated as late cancellations and are subject to the same policy.All services and purchases are non-refundable, except for the 50% refund on prepaid services as outlined above. Beauty Bar by Mare reserves the right to refuse service.

Appointment Reminder 📅

Please add your appointment date and time to your calendar after booking and review your confirmation notifications carefully.

Your confirmation email includes an option to add your appointment directly to your calendar, and your email and text reminders include the link needed to manage your appointment.
